Our Mission

At Grant Gardens, it’s our mission to preserve a young person’s relationship with their family and community. Through our work, we provide treatment for teens in an intensive treatment environment that is designed to make a measurable difference in their lives and empower them with tools for a healthy and stable life.

We are grounded by the core principles of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA’s) trauma-informed care model, including:

Safety

Trustworthiness and Transparency

Peer Support

Collaboration and Mutuality

Empowerment, Voice and Choice

Recognition of Cultural, Historical and Gender Issues

Our Care Philosophy

Our individualized care plans focus on the integration of patients’ lives outside our four walls. Visits with family, therapists and other guests are built in where appropriate with the goal of fostering stability and accelerating reintegration with their families and communities.

About Us

Innovative Approach

As the next generation of mental health services for young people, we believe in evidence-based care and core investments in innovative technology that can improve care quality and treatment efficiency.

Continuity of Education

We believe a young person’s education should not be disrupted by treatment. We offer accredited education programs to meet every grade level, ensuring patients stay on track with their studies throughout treatment.

Communication and Transparency

Patients’ families and designated caretakers have an open line of communication with our clinical care teams, as well as access to information related to the teen’s progress throughout the treatment plan.

Our Approach

Through our wide range of solutions, including clinical care teams, versatile intake and referral practices and a better system of communication and transparency between treatment teams and community stakeholders, we are increasing the efficiency and efficacy of treatment.

Learn More About What We Do

Treatment

Utilizing psychiatric services, we provide patients with an individualized care plan that is mapped to their baseline and goals. Each care journey is unique to the individual and regularly reviewed to ensure strong engagement and improvement that fosters stability in patients’ lives.

Intake

Our referral-to-admission process is more accessible to families, emergency rooms and outpatient providers through better communication and transparency across the board. Family members and designated caretakers can engage our teams through expanded hours to assist with teens in crisis.

Quality and Risk Management

We assess and implement data points on safety and quality on an ongoing basis, which are critical to our culture and organizational commitment to operational and regulatory compliance.

Words of Appreciation From Our Patients and Their Loved Ones

The Grant Gardens team helped me with my anger, how to stay away from drugs. I learned valuable life skills that helped me here and will continue to help me through life.

Resident

I feel like he is supported here and you genuinely want him to succeed.

Family Member

I received one-on-one attention. I could talk to staff and people listened to me. They helped me find new coping skills and helped me open up more. Staff often sit down and talk about treatment. They reminded me to take my meds, they let me call my mom, and they treated me with respect.

Resident

You stayed committed to working with him. His attitude changed a lot and we get along a lot better.

Family Member

Whenever I got mad, there was always someone to talk to. I was always given a second chance.

Resident

It's the best place for him. He's had a chance to grow up and not be overmedicated.

Family Member

I learned more coping skills, learned about circle of control and that I should focus on myself and not others, but my actions don't just affect me but others too. Overall, I learned to be a better person.

Resident

The maintenance part of it... you managed to keep him from getting sent out of state. Most facilities would not have gone through with him what you guys went through with him.
